Increasingly we long for balance and more contemplative rhythms in the face of almost systemic distraction. In our time together we will explore a variety of practices that foster contemplative living. We will seek to expand and deepen our availability for experiential awareness of God's presence. Topics to be included are: contemplative attitude, sacred moments in nature, healing meditation, socially engaged contemplation, forgiveness, pilgrimage/walking, meditation, poetry as contemplative practice, centering prayer, silence, solitude, and enclosure.
